I love Agile Solution’s 1Password. It’s a game-changer for me. I create unique passwords for every service, they are far stronger than what I would come up with and I have access to them via my iPhone as well.
But I’ve never really used the folders function. Pretty much all of my passwords are just freely floating in an unassigned list. That will soon change, because of this feature that I’ve never noticed.
Of course, this is the first feature shown on their website, so I’m not sure why I missed it. But now that I know about this functionality, grouping my passwords makes good sense. (I’ve also discovered that I need to update a few URLs that still point to the sign-up page instead of the sign-in page. I’ll work on that, too, sometime.)
1Password works with most browsers and even NetNewsWire and other RSS readers.
